IRAS Warning of Email Virus Attack

The Internal Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) has notified us that there is an email virus attack in circulation.

The email purports to be from the “Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore ” and gives their email address. The subject is stated to be “Your 2013 Tax Return Report”.

The message then asks the recipient to review the .pdf document attached to the email, to see details of the alleged tax refund.

Please DO NOT click on or otherwise open any such attachment. Simply delete it and then use your virus checker to scan your system.
